Welcome Page
March Meeting: Alice Kennedy taught us all how to weave and to use the Shibori dye technique. Members were asked to bring:

A loom; warped. With 10/2 (or an equivalent) cotton in a light or white
color: sett -24,
Put on about 2 to 3 yards to start.
Alice will be supplying the supplemental warp threads.
Threaded for a Tabby 1234

Just a reminder: Meg, at Ancient Pathways, is available to help you order supplies and may have a few books for you to purchase if you’re interested. Let’s support our local suppliers whenever possible.

The monthly project theme will be “Utility Cloths” in anticipation of the CNCH Conference project. It will be quite an accomplishment if there are lots of pieces representing our guild.
February meeting: Sande won the drawing, a handwoven towel made by Alice and a gift certificate for Ancient Pathways. Arleen turned in booties and a hat for the Angel Community project.
Show and Tell: Arleen showed a knitted hat, sweater and felted pin cushion; Sande brought her handwoven book markers; Mary Brand showed off her pin cushions; Tish showed her felted items and a quilt.

Leslie LeMon provided a wonderful program on making beaded bracelets.

We also held our “Clean Out Your Closet” Sale.
