The Fresno Weavers and Spinners Guild is a tax exempt non profit organization under the umbrella of the Conference of Northern California Handweavers, Inc. (CNCH)

We are often asked: " Why do you weave? Why do you spin?"

For some, it's a hobby, like sewing, tying flies or baking bread. For some, it's also a form of art. Creating something "from scratch" is satisfaction unmatched. But whatever the reason, when you love what you're doing, time is not a factor.

The mission of the Fresno Weavers and Spinners Guild is to encourage excellence, inspire creativity and to preserve fiber traditions through education.

There are programs, lectures and workshops throughout the year. Some members teach and many members can be found demonstrating at fairs, Civil War Days,, schools and for private groups.
